ISGF European Workshop

The theme for the Workshop was 'Skills for the Future'. The Tree forms the basis of the workshop activities on Visibility, Networking, Coming Together, Communication, Development and Conclusion.

Jane Wardropper,Chair of ISGF Europe, welcomed participants from 17 European countries to the workshop before introducing Jane Smart and Hilary Taylor, the facilitators for the five day event.

Skills for the Future' was the discussion theme, with a Tree forming the basis of the workshop activities on Visibility, Networking, Coming Together, Communication, Development and Conclusion.

At the end of the event the tree had many ideas for people to work on as each section had been discussed, activities enjoyed and thoughtful decisions reached. Communication barriers were broken through singing, mime, team work and FUN!

A day in Berlin was enjoyed as participants toured some the of the main sights....and due to the volcanic ash cloud some people were also able to revisit the city whilst they waited for transport home!

Singing together, sharing crafts and social activities was also beneficial to all the participants, especially the TIME spent together and the forging of long term links.
