Thanet South Guild’s Centenary Celebration
Thanet South Guild, Kent East, wanted to celebrate the Centenary, but how do it so it would be different and memorable? One of the members, a bell ringer, suggested a BBQ in the grounds of the Waterloo Bell tower at Quex Park, Birchington and from this came plans for a weekend with members gathering for a BBQ on the Friday night, ten pitching their tents and sleeping overnight and other members returning for an alfresco lunch the following day.

Cruising the Manchester Ship Canal Cruise
On Saturday 26 June 2010 seventy members and friends from Guilds on Merseyside cruised down the Manchester Ship Canal from Liverpool Pier Head to Salford Quays. The ‘Snowdrop’ was full to capacity with 386 passengers on board.

The County Public Relations Advisers from London and South East Region met recently for a day in London.

The Dover Guild's Centenary Adventure.
On a Saturday in May a group of 36 made up of Trefoil members, Guiders and Brownies set out on their Centenary Adventure, which was to include a flight on the London Eye and a visit to the Crystal Palace Maze. To allow all members to go, including those who were not as `agile` as they would like to be, we hired four wheelchairs.

Wiltshire South Celebrate the Centenary!
On Friday evening 11th June 2010, sixty members and friends of the Wiltshire South Trefoil Guilds descended on the Jubilee Hall in Bratton to celebrate 100 years of Guiding, with a 1940’s theme.
